EXCHANGE OF CONTRACTS

 

Once we have navigated through the stages of the mortgage application, surveys, searches, enquiries and anything else that will need to be verified, the contracts are ready to be signed and exchanged by the solicitors. At this point a confirmed completion date is agreed and both parties enter into a legally binding agreement to sell/buy the house.

COMPLETION

 

Congratulations! This is the stage that you have successfully sold your home. The outstanding monies are paid by the buyer and sent to your solicitor ready for payment. Keys would usually be handed to our office ready for the buyer to collect.
